Well I have been reading around on here for a few weeks and decided to make an account. I got a Mazda B2200 not too long ago. I have been into DSM's (eclipse, talon) since high school, first car was a 97 eclipse gst. Which I competed in Sound Competitions around alot which took me to many truck shows like Southeastern Mini Truck Nats back in 2007 (and other years afterwards but that was the first year). I got rid of the 97 and picked up a red 93 eclipse, which I took to SE Mini Truck Nats last year (2010)(Which ironically on the way home between day 1 and day 2 it broke down, jumped time and bent the valves, and didnt make it back to day 2, and hasent ran since). I know its odd to take a car to a truck show and I thought the same thing but I have always enjoyed the scene better. So now here I am with a b2200
The truck is not in great shape, doesnt run, missing interior panels, has some rust, etc. But only paid $400 for it so I dont think it was too bad. My first plan is to actually get it running again, the motor that is in it is locked down but I found a 302 recently and I have a T5 transmisson that I was going to use in another project but never did. So the plan is to swap it over and get it running and see what other problems arise at the point.
Later after its good and running I want to get it on air, possibly body drop, paint, get the interior panels I am missing and recover/paint them, and put my audio in it

2007 Nopi & SE Mini Truckin Nats in Knoxville, Car is ugly I know but it I never actually meant for it to be a "show car" until right before I got rid of it, mainly just audio comps.

Also it came with a regular back glass that I will be putting in instead of the sliding one that there now.
Im open to comments, concerns, etc, I wont be offended.

You've definitely got a project on your hands. I wish they still had the Nopi nationals. What part of GA are you from?

I am in Northeast Georgia, Live like right at the N.Carolina Border in Rabun County if you know where that is.
Got hit by the tornadoes last week and dealing with that so havent been on here lately. Still made it up to Southeast Mini Truckin Nats on Saturday though and got to see some of the mazdas from here at the show... at least I think some of them were from here, dont know the people that go with the trucks but a few looked familiar.
Anyway, got the motor out of the truck and got a 302 block and heads here for it, just have to get all the externals for it still.
