i need help plz

i have an 89 mazda b2200 i dont know if its the original motor but the carb on it i think is shot....i replaced the head gasket and new timin plugs wires oil thermostat and when i drove it for the first time after all that it seemed like it didnt want to pull and now it just sounds like its either chokin or floodin out but im not sure im still learning bout mazdas and if ne one could help me that would be great.....thanks

but the timin light i used said it was good though...could the light be wrong or wat? it ran fine until i did the work to it and someone helped me that said they knew wat to do and i dont think he did.

and i how do i correct that? also....i went to flush the motor of all the water and there is no water comin out of the bottom of the motor wat does that mean?

Where are you flushing it from? If you are flushing from the radiator it could be due to the fact that the thermostat would be closed.

To me your timing issue sounds like the timing between the crank and the cam is off by one tooth. the way to correct this would be to take the timing belt off and realign the cam and the crank.
