hi from central MN, I've had my tuck since i got my license and my dad had many for his shop years ago, I've taken the 2.0 out and put a 2.2 in and then put a rebuilt 2.0 head on. I was told that this is better because the 2.2 head has hydraulic lifters that wear out fast and the 2.0 is manual, my issue is that i keep blowing head gaskets on cylinders 3 and 4 and after the last time i noticed that the head bolt on the exhaust side of the head between these two cylinders was about a 1/4 turn loose, i used a 2.0 head set, can anyone tell me if there's any way to make this work or should i save up and find a rebuilt 2.2 head to help me out. Also on the loose head bolt has any one seen what causes this ie: bolt stretch, block stripped, bolt stripped, etc
