Welcome to the site Mikey, your Mazda is a great truck and will surly last you a long time. I have over 200k miles on my Ranger and it's still going strong.

thannks for the warm welcome, so far i love it i mean wish it was a lil bigger but great first car, the owner before me was a older couple that only drove it to work and home and never abused it, so far i've painted the grille gloss black and the wheels are next then the bumpers since the truck is black with black bumpers etc. , any performance parts out there for it though? <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->

Not really but your father and yourself could always work on a Turbo system for it. I want to say there is a company that has a turbo kit available but I would have to search for it.

Easiest way to turbo that truck is by stealing the setup off of a late 80's-early 90's Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. They both have the same block, minus the oil feed and return ports. You could probably run the harness, ECU and all. Or a Megasquirt or something. It'd be pretty badass, I think. The Turbo Coupes were fairly quick, even though they were HEAVY!

Meet the Turbo Coupe!

ok DONT EVER LET SOMEONE CHANGE YOUR OIL, i was being lazy and let my friend change the oil, anybody know where i can find a new oil pan that's not gonna kill the bank? he stripped the drain plug D: and now need a new oil pan,

Try whatever you can to get that plug out, and I would drill and re-tap to the next size up if the pan is stripped. Ford must have a larger drain plug on another model.

Basically, you don't want to deal with changing out the pan, its a PIA. I did it a few months ago, took a whole day to get it open and out.
