howdy folks!
i have in the past month bought 2 mazda trucks, both are extended cabs: a mazda b2600i 2x2 '87 with a good frame( no rust,from arizona), knocking engine and another of the same from '93, with a good engine, but rotted frame. i hope to swap the engine from the 93 into the 87, but have no idea what pieces of the 87 to keep in there or not. i have pulled the 93 engine already and may have to get new gaskets, but it got 30 to the gallon when it was drivable. no idea about the 87, but its supposed to be a bad engine,as thats what the mechanic who sold it to me said. i got the 87 for 500.00 and the 93 for 200.00(it was a friends).
so thats what i got! i hope to someday put a diesel engine in there.
