Hi all, been lurking awhile. My Truck is a 1989 Ford Courier 2200 trayback running on propane. Some mild mods, mags, Astina steering wheel, chrome bumper off an unknown Izuzu etc.Had it for over a decade and 400,000 klms (2 motors,3 headgaskets, 1 diff and 1 gearbox).
Just blown a headgasket so I have some questions, got to choose which head to use -2000-solid or 2200-Hydralic and if I should bother getting a cam reground.
I have both heads and the regrind is inexpensive.

They are the same head.
The difference is the cam and rocker/lifter assy.
Most people prefer the manual adjust lifters over the hydraulic ones.
Whatever you choose, make sure you use the cam caps that came with the head you use.
You don't want to get those mis-matched.
