New here, I was a member at mazdatruckin for a while before it died. I'm from the Statesville, NC area.

I have a 89 B2200 Cab Plus with 215,000 mi. The idea was to just have a little beater daily driver that got decent mileage and keeps the miles off of my other vehicles.

Of course, I could never leave anything alone (as you'll see), so it has had a little bit of stuff touched up here and there, wheels off of my wife's car, 1" torsion drop in the front, 3" blocks in the rear, Kenwood HU and 6.5s in the doors, 2" exhaust with a thrush turbo muffler for a semi-stock sounding but free flowing exhaust, and a weber 32/36 carb.

In the mail currently are shorter shocks up front, and some air shocks for the rear. I plan to remove 1, maybe 2 leaves in the rear, flip the BJ, and re-index the torsion bars up front to make it level. The air shocks are needed because the little Mazda does get worked around the farm.

And just a little background, here are a few of my other vehicles.
My 01 2500HD, 6.0, EFI-Live, 5.13 f/r ratio, 8" Fabtech, ORD shackle flip, 38x15.50x20 Nittos on 20x10s.

My 78 K30, 350, SM465 4 speed, 4.11s, 315/75R16 Kumhos. This was our fire department's brush truck before.

It's currently undergoing some changes

And last but not least my pride and joy, my 1967 Chevrolet C10. Base model as can be, but I don't care, my great grandfather bought it brand new in 67 and passed it down to me. It is currently down to the bare frame for some big changes (Fuel injected 5.3 LM7 v8, disc brake conversion, 3/5 drop, paint, interior, etc)

The motivation

Another random project, 1946 Ford 2N tractor, also passed down from my great grandfather.

I hope to stick around and learn some as I go with this B2200, might even throw in a little help here and there if I can.

Oh yea, what kind of guy would I be if I didn't introduce the help? These guys and (gal) are always lending a hand in the shop, even if they aren't the best help around, I still let them hang out.

What up from just down the road from ya. Like the wheels on that truck. I'm in Kannapolis...near Landis really.

Thanks, they were really just temporary, but they are growing on me. My wife hated the wheels on her Infiniti so I bought her some new ones a few years ago for Christmas, these were sitting in the scrap pile when I ran across some tires at the $10 tire man, after 15,000 mi the tires are still going good, so I can't complain. When they wear out I will probably look for some Silverado 16s. They need center caps, the original ones got broken and I've been too lazy to find any.

Oh, btw I joined up after seeing your truck to get details of your suspension setup. As you can see, this is my first foray into the lowered world, (well except my old Duramax diesel that I lowered 1/3, but at that point it still sat as high as a stock 1/2 ton z71, so it doesn't really count )
