well hello to every one. i have been logging on this site for a while.. but i never introduce my self. but now i am.. my name is Joe and i own a 1987 Mazda b2600 5 speed, let me tell ya i bought this truck about two years ago for work.. but when i had my first mechanical problem its when i was doing some research and i found this great site.. i love my truck but i dont know why this model its a lil rare ,because i had trouble finding the drive shaft support . thats when i notice that this model its way different than the 2.2 and others. but all the info that you guys talk in here helps.. i just rebuilt the engine , before i rebuilt the engine i abuse this truck , when i bought it i found out that it was leaking from the freeze plugs and radiator. so what i did was got a new radiator but.. i plug the freeze plugs with jb weld and some treatment to stop leaks . i drove this baby for almost two years putting water all the time ( i know got no heart) until one day i was driving and it turn off.. .. it was no surprise because i knew any day she was going to say that's enough .. to tell ya the truth i didn't knew if i should rebuilt or get a another truck.. but because this site made me put it back together on road.i said to my self this truck its good looking and its not expensive to buy parts , now i want to fix it up . even tough i need it for work. well i guess i wrote a lot ..
i will soon put a Weber and some headers . any help were i can get the headers? i saw them in eBay but would like to search more any help be cool. well talk later...

87 B2600 single cab 2wd!
I can't remember if I've seen one except in the facelift.
Wonder if this is the mitsi or the mazda? (that'll help finding headers)
Welcome to the site!

That thing has got some serious potential. Personally I would look it to liftin it, not to much but enough to put some 33" tires on it. that way you could still use it for work and have a little fun with it too!

Im sorry but i have to dissagree, BRING IT DOWN!!!

I would say the same cuz they look great lowered but if he has to use it for work than lowering it might not be the greatest thing, plus these trucks are monsters off road even stock. My previous b22 was awesome on trails and hill climb and all I did was torque the torsion bars all the way up put sensatrac shocks and put 31" tires on it oh and got rid of the rear bumper all together and take the plastics off the front. That truck was a blast and I miss it but know I have a lowered 91 b2200 and its pretty fun too definitely get a lot of looks from people! Lol

Oh yeah the looks are half the fun. Love em or hate em you cant help but look. I love when i pull up somewhere and people stare. Then when i lay it out their eys bout pop out their skulls. Love it!

If your using it as a truck though, lowering it will have consequences. The rear springs on these trucks are not the best for toting a load! My trucks are used as trucks, so no lowering for me! But they do look nice when they're slammed!
