not to mechanically inclined when it comes to transmissions but got an issue with wont go into 1st or 2nd and its automatic,message on dash is flashing hold,tranny issue or computer sending unit?Any ideas?

Well not to sure about you problem but it might be sensor. Anyway welcome to the scene and you might have better luck posting in a different section.

if the hold is flashing it might be the switch is fucked on the side of your shifter there is a hold switch try toggleing that if not there is a removable peice on the base of the shifter console undernith there is a red buton togle it its the hold disengage
