my first low and slow

Ive been on the site for while just reading becouse I had planned to get a b2200. Its being delivered next week so i joined today. I am getting an all stock 87 B2200 from my father in law. He is the origonal owner. Plans are simple, some drop blocks that he has from when his son had the truck and he took off. hopefully I can track down some five point titan rims and powdercoat them white (seen a couple on trucks here and love it), a webber carb, pace setter header, full exhaust, roof rack and thats about it for a while. I just got rid of my 2000 chevy with heads, cam and whipple and my 2006 bolt on TBSS so I could get the wife a 2012 VW CC R-line that she wanted so I need something else to mod other than my 91 crx with a B20 swap lol. Like I said Ive been trolling the site for a while and I really like how cool everyone is with each other and how helpful people are even when a question can easily be answered with a quick search. I wear out the search button becouse Im pretty sure any question I could ask has already been asked and aswered a few hundred time already. lol now off to do some research on my new farm truck 2.2

truck came in today. its in pretty damn good shape but barely runs lol. Started up good but has NO power second gear was useless lol. I took it around the bock but didnt know if i would make it home. Got it from my father in law for a few hundred. He said it will need a new carb so ill be searching through the forum for a walkthrough for a webber install. Ill do a header with the rest of the exhaust at the same time. Tires are old as dirt and dried out but I have a line on some eskies or titans here local. Going to have to find the write up on the relays I saw about the ac and blower motor. Ill probably get pics up this weekend. I am glad I trolled the site for as long as I did and already found so many write ups on the stuff Ill have to do.
