Hello, All.

I'm new here. I stumbled upon this place recently after another (known) forum went down. I'm in Denver, CO and I own an '87 B2600 4X4 that I've slowly been tinkering with.

My photos are a little old but currently the hood, a-pillars, and roof is flat black. It's just plasti-dip and I think I'm going to take it off and repaint the entire truck. I've also repainted the grille and the front bumper. She's a little rusty in places but it runs and drives well. I use it for house-projects, commuting in the snow, and thats about it. It is not my daily driver. Just a toy!

I just picked up two gauge clusters with tachs (and new speedo cable), 3-spoke steering wheel, and a sliding rear window. Once I get all of these parts in, I need to address the brakes and I want to install some bucket seats. When I drive this in the snow, sometimes I can be stuck in it for over an hour barely moving so I'd like it to be more comfortable. That bench seat is terrible!

Welcome Lord!

LOL......Baha (the owner of this site) needs to call K6 and tell him shut down MT on a monthly basis so us guys will visit more often!

This is a good site as well, and you'll like it here also.......a lot of us MT regulars are on here often also, although sometimes you can get confused as to which site your on!

Yeah, I need to address the bench seat in my red B2200 also!!

Have fun Lord, and enjoy the Bscene as well man!

Thanks!

I got my speedo cable, gauge cluster, and steering wheel installed last night. It's great to now have a tach as well as a working speedo again! That 3-spoke steering wheel changed the feel of everything too.

You did move the speedo cable over to the left if there was a non-tach dash in it before.......right?

You have to push it back into the dash and get it out of the round hole it is in, and then feed it back into the gauge area but over to the left side.........if not, the cable will break again!

Yes! I did move it because I could tell it was tight going back in without doing so. Thanks for looking out though!

Your welcome! I have the original tutorial for swapping in a tach dash that V8Safari put together many years ago.......I saved the pictures to my desktop back then, and have since loaded it to PB and have posted it several times on the 2 different forums........that guy did a good job on that tutorial.
