'New' 86 B2000

Hi -

I'm in Metro Atlanta. Usually a MoPar guy, but a buddy had an 86 B2000 that the tranny locked up in, so I'm getting it for $200. I found a tranny on CL for $50, but I'm trying to find interchange info, so I can make sure what I'm buying will fit this particular truck.

Always liked these old Mazdas, but admittedly, this is just a truck to be a truck and haul stuff around, and make me feel extremely manly.

a b2000 trany will bolt to a 2.2 and vise versa but if its a 2600i youl need matching motor-tranni. BUT you can put a 2.6 in a b2000 with the 2600 trani i think. correct me if im wrong on the 2600
