My first Mini

So ill be picking this 89 b2200 up in a week. 190k auto. Needs some body work. Im going to try out my body skills and paint it this summer. Seems to be running well. I think the carb needs to be rebuild so that will be the first order of business. Secondly I dont believe it was lowered correctly. The guy im buying it from (coworker) said the previous owner did 4in blocks in the rear and torqued down the torsion bars to lower the front. It rides like a brick. He also said it could use ball joints and tierods so Im going to flip the joints and see what all the kid did to it. Let me know what you think. Paid $1300 for it. So pumped to start on it.


As you can see it needs a new inner panel on the pass. fender to be able to bolt up and a dent in the pass door. Minor surface rust here and there but that will be taken care of with me painting it.
