Thought id finally register here since i've been browsing through the forum lately for some ideas and info.
I bought my first Mazda truck last august. Its an '89 2.2 diesel. Right now got about 170k miles on it and runs like a clock. I bought it from the 1st owner all stock. Not much bad to say other than its got some rust here and there.
Had a blast last winter thanks to that LSD

Because of the winter and the lack of space in the garage i havent gotten much done to it. Basically all i've done is tint the glass, tint front blinkers and rear lights, repainted the upper edges of the bed, bought and restored those 10 spoke aluminium wheels, double 2.5" stacks, new radio, speakers and a sub, addon high beams. And some other minor fixes too. Also turned up the fuel on the pump so i can keep up with other cars lol.

Future plans...possibly lower it, fix the rust and possibly complete respray later on, shorten+mitre cut the stacks this weekend, repaint the grill and bumper and the list goes on.

Welcome to the site. Where do you hail from?

Thanks. Finland. There are plenty of jap trucks here but they're mainly used that they were intended to, not for customization so much. And most of the trucks are beaten up or just rotten from the road salt. This one still seems to be in pretty good shape after 24 years. Our vehicle laws are also a little stricter so the customizing is a bit more limited.

By the way, does anyone know how the plastic side trim pieces are put on? Im planning to take them off and was wondering are they just glued or are there some plastic pins that go through the metal?
