This was when I first got it... was sitting in my uncles driveway for 5-7 years before I convinced him to just give it to me back in '05.

Rebuild Motor only had 90,000 miles. Burnouts really don't help

Fifth gear RX-7 conversion. I also painted it but unfortunately my camera with all the pics with actual paint got stolen

here is one from when I got the body work done. Fixed some big dents down the side and fenders.

Then this happened got rear ended into the car in front of me. I sadly said my good bye's and figured it was a gonner.

It sat out in the street for about 6 months almost getting towed a few times until I decided to fix it!

I have a few of the truck torn apart in the front and with some mocked up wrecking yard parts (2600i bubble hood find too!) Will post a little later.

let me know how that rx-7 5th gear swap does.

I did the 5th gear swap back in 07. It wasn't very difficult if you have the tools. I also put Redline synthetic gear oil in there and it shifts like a dream (highly recommend). I do a lot of freeway driving so the 5th really helped my gas mileage i get around 26mpg Hwy and 22-24mpg street, depending on how nice I am to it I did notice a big loss in pulling power going over hills in 5th (Grapevine) but honestly 4th and 5th weren't much different to begin with so I can whine it out in 4th no prob. Plus grape vine is a bitch no matter what.
