What year to buy

Hi im new to the truck scene looking for advice before I buy, can any one recommend what is the best year mazda B2200 to buy,also is there a complete kit you can buy to bag it bearing in mind that I live in the UK any advice would be great thanks

no kits for b trucks for anything, everything is custom.

seriously there is very little aftermarket support for the b series trucks. Making your own parts makes the build mean more though.

For options, I'd buy 92 to 93 and make it a B2600i.

For age and simplicity I'd go with 82-85... I like that body style better.

2600i need an ecu were as you can run the 2000/2200 off of a Weber with no ecu. Its down to what you want fuel injection or carb. both make about the same power depending on upgrades.

Keep in mind also......if your in the UK, your B2200's might be different and available over there in different years than what we have had over here in the US.

That said........I kinda like the 1986 & 1987 B2000 the best, then maybe the 1990-1993 B2600i trucks. It seems to me that the B2000 trucks are built to last a tad longer in certain areas in the truck........might just be me though!
