What's going on everyone? Name is Alex and I just traded my 95 M3 for this lovely 89 B2200. Hope to give it some TLC, bag and swap the motor eventually. Head was just rebuilt, has offroad fenders and a new clutch. Runs great for a 89 I must say. Any words of advice on which engine I should look into swapping?

Welcome to the forums!

I think you traded up!

Personally, I'd leave it this way for some time while you decide on what to do with her. It's pretty nice as it sits.

Show some pics of the engine bay.

Definitely an upgrade! Lol welcome to the forum. From what I've seen the fe3 swap is the easiest to do (kia shortage motor) pretty much a drop in swap, then there's guys swapping in miata motors, ford 302, sbc, 13b, Benz diesels..Pretty much anything is possible but iI agree, stick with what you got now and enjoy it. The stock motor is pretty good... No performance motor but runs great.

Hey guys, thanks! I definitely think it was an upgrade as well. The M3 was amazing and fun but not my style anymore. I love how this thing drives even though its way under power of the M3 but I get so many looks and thumps up.

Here is the engine and it looks to have a tiny leak on the passengers side down by the block, don't know from what though. I think it has a Holly or Webber carb. Anyone know? Oh and bags are first. What is everyone running on 15s? I have 205/50/15s and it is over driven so I'm doing 60 when it reads 70. :9

It's good, just seems to want to die when I come to a stop sign/light even after I adjusted the idle to 900 rpm at a warm stop.
