Where The Hell Do I Start.. Be Gentle, I have legally owned and depended on one vehicle before Mazda Which Was A Purrrty 1978 G Body Grand Prix... I Have Been Using This Site As a Bible For My Truck Every Night, The Last 3-4 Hours Before Bed Since Late July.. ( My Gf Might Just Be Contemplating This Relationship As She Looks Annoyed During These Times, And Pretty Silent..

*Cracks Knuckles, Takes A Sip Of Ipa, Smh*

Old Gf And I Received A b2200 the baby blue manual, unsure of year, had no interest of cars then as I am a musician.. I was the one allowed to drive via her stepdad, car drove amazing.. I drove the hell out of that thing across town to work and back daily, her parents lived 45 mins away rough roads, BLAH BLAH... absolutely fell in love with it.. silent on roads, shifted so nice, no leaks, no overheats, started with ease even in this bullshit northwest weather... 2 years later I think was more hurt in the breakup of her getting the truck than the breakup itself (hehe) even tried to buy it, he wanted to... long story short the spoiled daughter got to demolish it as everytime I see it on the road looks worse..

So, due to personal first hand experience- I bought an 87 b2000 (Grey, lame ass blue and grey flames on hood, 164,000 need clutch BAD-flywheel spun in circles like a tweeker on a mission , has some oil leak but cant find the engine one just main seal) , on impulse.. dude was asking $1000, being in sales my whole life, I walked away with her for $200 bucks laughing to myself thinking Mwah Ahh Ahh... Little did I know I was pretty much lucky with the one I drove for 2 years.. have had as daily driver since late july, have put 2,000 miles on her almost to the exact... This Car Stresses me the hell out, get anxiety every flippin time I turn the key... paid 2 old friends $200 basically after cash and beer, I bought clutch also for 130 and master slave boot blah blah..

That Being Said, I Just Got A 91, b2200 white manual 171,000... I Definitely Made Out Like A Bandit On This One For The Most Part (clutch feels beautiful, or its the calm before the storm, applied for title, received abandoned vehicle bill of sale got a transfer at licensing today I guess its a tow lien repo-seems fishy, smells stolen.. hope not) I paid $50 for this truck, the guy thought it had a blown gasket or engine due to some common known mazda problems;) that I learned the tricks to simmer them down a bit THANKS TO THIS WONDERFUL WEBSITE/FORUM FULL OF ANGELS HERE. Was able to get through the sale fast enough to floor that beast outta there never looking back (didn't drive when I arrived, made an hour of sweet love to her that you all taught me) was very worried about the fishy smell of paperwork for her, thinking to myself, F*(k it, I just got a running parts car for $50 if all else fails..

*gf Just Chimed In, What The Hell Are You Writing Over There Babe... * LOL Man Oh Man.... I Replied "Car Stuff"

All This Being Said..... Who's Ready For My 1,000 Unanswered Questions And Bitching About My 87, eventually Leading into My 91? Tired Of Bugging The Mazda Guru/Lowrider Owner Who Works At AutoZone.. Hoping The Vets I See On Here Chime In..

Hows That For An Intro, I Take My Story To The Death Of Me And My B's.. Under Oath.

Nice story... Remember, if you're ever given an ultimatum "It's me or the truck", just tell her "I'm going to miss you". There are a lot of truck lovin women out there but not so many of these trucks!

Welcome to the sickness called mini truckin.

AS picture whores here, you must post pictures over everything you do to her, the truck I mean.

Sig worthy. Truly epic!

And to the OP, it wasn't all that long ago that I was new to the scene. You'll catch on quickly, these trucks are usually very reliable and IMO pretty easy to work on.

Welcome.
