Hi yall,
Just created my account here. I just traded my 92 chevy geo metro lsi convertable for a 88 mazda b2200 about a week ago.
The front of the truck was missing and the back was missing a bumper. I am a regular customer at a local auto salvage yard. I managed to complete my truck for $95.00 The cab on it is solid. And the truck overall looks great. I got 1 problem though. The bed looks great from the out side but when you look in the bed the floor of it is rusted out.
I have the regular cab and short bed, Will a long bed work on my truck?
I found a solid long bed on a regular cab b2200. I would like to put it on my truck and I can get it for only $150.00 I am guessing all I should have to do is get longer bumper brackets.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

You will need to lengthen the frame, fuel lines, drive shaft and some wiring.

Man that's not what I wanted to hear. Thanks for the fast response though. I guess I will find another. I found a nice short bed on a 93 extended cab. Im sure that wont work either. Wish I could just find a replacement floor for mine. I want to get some pics up but I am in the middle of a snow storm right now cant even see my truck.

Yes, unfortunately you will need a reg. cab short bed.
