I recently traded for a 88 mazda b2200 se5. When I bought the truck it had been sitting a while. Clutch was slipping bad apparently, both bumpers were missing all plastics and light grill. It looked like part of a truck. I just got the clutch in 2 days ago and got everything I needed for the truck for $95 bumpers and all plus some extras. The truck is all together now and looks great and runs and drives good. I want to fine tune it though and get it running like new. Any suggestions on where I should start?

I suggest using ngk plugs just the normal oem cheap ones from say like autozone who carries them in stock. As for wires I like the accel 8mm plug sets. You do have to cut to fit and crimp the connectors. You would have to buy a v8 set since no 4cyld set is made today.Updating your coil is easy and accel is the route I took and a went with the direct fit sold at yes auto zone around 30.00 I think. As for oil your choice, filters I recommend mobil one filters for the oil.A touch costly at 13.00 roughly most places.Just a few simple things to start.I use accel on my truck and just Valvoline 10/30 mostly not synthetic either.Ok

I like the purolator premium filters personally, or WIX. You don't get much more (if anything) with the Mobil or K&N filters. We can all agree, steer clear of Fram.
