Hi people not sure how active this site is but it was first on my search.
My name is Joey 26 and I am no stranger to Mazda I have owned
1988 mazda mx6 (Still own but down)
1989 mazda mx6 gt (sold)
2004 mazda 6s v6 gt fully loaded (traded in )
2006 mazdaspeed 6 sport model (current)
I am looking for a work truck and I found a 1999 Mazda b3000 V6 5 speed 2wd troy lee edition with 170 k miles and they are asking $2500. I went test drove it has engine felt strong no leaks ac and heater work. The guy claims its clutch was replaced last month drove good needs some body work just wondering what is KNOWN to go out and what I need to look at. It was a cold day and when I started it there was smoke but I am chalking it up to the weather I am taking a good friend back Thursday to look at it for me. ANy info would be appreciated
I included a pic of the actual truck I am considering
B3000 fell through. I did however just snag up a 98 b2500 4cyl 5 speed today all was good but once down the street from my house after a 35 mile hwy drive home the clutch started sticking the pedal came up but it didn't disengage and after a sec in slammed in to gear all I can think is the slave cylinder or master cylinder I will look more in to it tomorrow. Hope it's an easy fix I only paid 1700.
