Sup all, just got a 88' B2200 reg cab and reg bed i think. Pretty ragged. Beater. 330k on the clock, roached, but free. Almost wants to run, gonna adjust timing and see if she runs smoothe. Anyway all help and info on getting her running right again to get back on the road would be greatly appreciated. Soon to post pics. Just found this site. Thanks all.

We'll the tanks empty so we poured some gas down the carb, crank crank crank fired up W.O.T. Ran a lil rough, died, nothin but crank crank crank followed. stopped when started got warm. Uncle told me they replaced the timing belt and tensioner and maybe it needs to go back a tooth. I need to go back with gas and do that. Hopefully tomorro. It's gonna be my lil beater project so I'm cool with homegrown fab lol. Thanks i appreciate the reply.

Also anyone know any good sites for parts or am I stuck to the junk piles and ingenuity? Basics would include air/ fuel / oil filters, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil to start with. Anything I'm missing let me know.
Location is Hawaii so parts + shipping = pricey. I'm gonna try to cut costs anywhere I can, drivetrain is first priority, cosmetics last. Beater project cruiser.

Check partsgeek.com lots times they offer free shipping on bulky orders. Also if you go ordering over 100/300$ i have promo codes i can give you. I never order that much. And the carry everything fron a fuel filter to a fender and everything in between.

Tryin to upload pics, anyway. Sorry guys been so long. Well I got the timing good i believe and had this beast runnin. Only for a lil bit then shut her off to put water in radiator. Filled it up fired the truck up and it shot all the water out from somewhere underneath I gotta find where. Air leak sound shooting the water. Also she won't idle now after that happened. Any ideas?

Ok my bad that's not much to go off. Freeze plug maybe? It got dark and I ran outta light.
