Hello everyone, my names kozmo. Just got my first truck ! Its a 1990 b2200 2.2L 5 speed manual. Didmt know much about trucks when i bought it but boy do i now. Unfortunately the person i bougjt it from failed to tell me anything that was changed or worked on. Its obvious that there has been work done and more was needed. Replaced the air filter and breather element to check if the pistons were shoting up oil. Theyre still clean. Replaced the valve cover gasket and pcv valve. Unforfunately iy still leaks about a quart every couple hundred miles. I was told that it could be the vacuum hoses so i printed out a diagram, got a haynes manual and even had a friend give me a password to alldata. Someone jerry rigged the hoses. After puttimg them back to the best of my knowledge i still dont know if its spot on. Even the mazda dealership had no idea exactly. I find that its dripping from what i can guess by the diagram is the number one air control valve. Anyone know what that might mean? Until i find an avid b series mechanic or at least another model like mine to compare im gonna keep at it! Thanks y'all.

Oil seems to also be running down the hose that goes from the furthest left reed valve to the number one air control valve.
