I am completely new to the forum and need some help!

I am looking for a bull bar or a brush guard for my 1999 Mazda B2500. I have the base SX model and the front bumper 'skirt' may not allow for me to put a bull bar on the truck. I may end up buying a bumper at a salvage yard off of an upgrade model or, if anyone knows, a similar year model Ranger if it would fit.

If anyone has a solution for me or if you know of a cross reference chart for using other Westin, Iron Cross, etc. for other truck models that would fit, please let me know.

Thanks everyone!!

98-2000 Ranger should fit or be very very close. Do you have a picture of your bumper? A truck as old as yours has probably had previous owners and it's possible they swapped on a different bumper. Later model year Ranger bumpers will actually bolt up.

I'm almost certain that the bumper on the truck is the original. Pretty much everything on the truck is original including the tiny 14" wheels! Here is a picture of the front bumper.

Welcome hogfan...

As Baha mentioned your truck is a rebadged Ford Ranger. Most if not all parts from a Ford should fit your truck.

You should look at your headlights, they need to be cleaned/scuffed/polished to help you drive safely at night.

Yeah a 98-2000 Bull Bar or Brush Guard should fit. If you need to know the bumper skirt is usually referred to as a valence. You could always swap out your Mazda Valence for one from a 98-2000 Ranger. If you are going for more of an offroad look, taking off the valence really helps.

Yeah, thanks Dan. Those were pics that I took of the truck when I first got it about a year ago. I have since used headlight restorer to clean them up a bit. They need to be done again though, so I need to find my cleaner and get on those again!

If you want a permanent fix for the headlights, wetsand them with 800-1200 grit and have them clear coated.

@AngusWilly; thanks for that suggestion too. I will do that!
