New to mini trucks. Looking for advice on:

Lowering suspension by Bagging, Lower Kits, or any other means.

Engine options as far as tuning, possible engine swap + swap kits.

Rims - looking for a good set of 16x7s

6 lug it 5 lug? How is the conversion done and does anyone have a shopping list of preferred items?

And last front facial swaps? How many variations are there and from what years. I've seen a Toyota front end and the 01 ranger headlight swap, is there any other and does anyone have a parts list?

I'm real exited to be owning this Lil Mazda. Not looking to build a racer or a lowrider, just a clean, lowered cruiser that doesn't struggle to 75mph in 5th gear.

PS: has anyone done a F20C S2000 swap?

Name's Jose

So. Camper is gone. Did some more research. Havent decided on if i will be Doing a Toyota hub swap up front or redrilling the bolt pattern? Everything looks sturdy and well maintained. Even the brake lines are new.

Any ideas on how to do a five lug on rear? And possibly disc brakes.?

I decided to look at a set of 17x7.5 I got. Will be test fitting soon as I do the conversion. What are y'all thoughts?

So I came across a clean set of 18x8.5 wheels. Ordered a 20mm 6x5.5 to 6x5.3 hub adapters for them as they are ford wheels. Looking into acquiring some Australian parts soon.

Engines?
Want to cut and redesign alot, go v8.
Drop in fit? I like the 4.3 (190 hpr as is) Vortec GM from a pickup with '86 HEI distributor and '70's carburetor, automatic transmission, done. Engine mounts use the original engine mount pads in the truck. Can even use stock shifter and radiator (if it is the all metal one).
