Greetings, Everyone! I came across this forum recently and decided to join since I am a big fan of Mazda B series trucks. I am already a member of a forum for my car(AE86 corolla gts) so it made sense to become a member of a forum that caters to my 2nd most favorite vehicle which is the Mazda B series truck especially the early models. Anyway, I am looking forward to spending time on this forum to enhance my knowledge of these trucks from studying DIYs threads with good posts as well other interesting threads since I will be doing some work on my 88 b2200 over the next few months. I will definitely be researching pertinent threads and posts that will potentially help me with my work. I will be posting updates with pics of my work progress as much as I can in hopes of gaining valuable feedback from you guys. Here is a little pic below of my b2200 which has been in my family since 1988 when it was purchased then basically given to me in 1998 completely stock but I have made some changes over the years like lowering it, adding a camper, and currently prepping for a new paint job soon as well as some interior work. I will post more pics of it soon.

Dig the shell

Thanks. I believe it still has potential as well after all of my years of owning it.

Thanks, appreciate it! I am getting ready to take that shell off and reseal it with new accordion boot before it gets cold since I removed back window glass and the old seal is like nine years old with little cracks starting to develop in it.

I'm looking for a shell for mine. Always wanted a walk through. I want a bench for the kids... maybe two buckets. Back in '95 there was a raspberry/white scalloped Mazda that was set up that way that was a convertible. Take off the top and shell... big rolling tub

I wish I could have seen it for more inspiration. Man, I miss the 90's! I saw a couple of wickedly sweet b2200's back in the early 90's as well and both were in the Florida area. I remember one of them was like a bowling ball blue effect if recall and it was also a convertible. I never forgot it after all these years. I believe it was the actual Mazda b series that got me really interested in these trucks back in the day before mine was even given to me in '98. Anyway, best of luck on locating a good shell! Let me know when you find one and install it because I would like to see a pic of it when you're done. They are pretty easy to install especially with an extra set of hands. I will upload some new pics of mine after it is painted and my interior work is done.
