Hey everyone,
I recently bought a 1989 b2200 extended cab and i have little knowledge about where I can find parts and what i can do for mods. Any help with my new project is greatly appreciated. It burns a lot of oil so I'm thinking about rebuilding the motor or doing a swap. Whats an easy and cheap swap that requires little to no fabrication?
Thanks!

A few guys do the Kia swap. It's a Mazda engine that was licensed to Kia, so it uses existing mounts.
Fairly sophisticated EFI swap, but manageable for a novice. Search the site for more info.
And too.

Oh, I forgot... welcome to the site.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've decided to just rebuild the engine where I can. Bought this beauty for $700 has shaved door handles and is already lowered. I'm excited to join the mini truck scene as I've wanted one ever since I was about 14.

Thanks guys. I want to get rid of all those damn vacuum lines that go to the original carb and just put a weber on it. I have a 32/36 on my 1979 Toyota celica right now and it was fairly easy to install and i am thouroughly satisfied with its one vacuum line coming from the distributer. Is it the same with these mazdas? Just one vacuum line and i can delete most/all of the EGR crap? I also kind of want decent fuel economy because its going to be driven 70 miles daily, is the 32/36 fuel efficient?
