Hey guys,

My name is Gregg and I got this truck in a trade about 2 months ago.

Since then, I've bought/replaced/modded the following parts.

Installed OEM style mirrors
Peeled off the plastidip
Removed rear bumper
Removed shitty radio
Installed mini amp and 6.5" JL components instead of a radio
Installed clear tails, corners, and signals
DJM 3" control arms
Reindexed the torsion bars
Tune up (plugs, wires, oil change, coolant flush, timing)
Played with the a/f and idle on the aftermarket weber carb
Installed a tailgate handle since it was missing
Made the signal lights work as the running lights and vice versa
3" block in the rear
New grill assembly
Isuzu pickup 2wd front shocks
Nissan quest rear shocks
"Flipped" lower ball joints
Notched front shock mount (for moar low)

Ordered/going to be ordered:

3" lowering leaf springs
Crager 15" smoothies with 205/50 tires
Notch
Fuel cell

My goal is to be as low as possible static.

Here is what I started with.

Welcome to the site man and nice job on the truck, looks a lot better than before. When you bought the clear corners and the clear/red tail lights did you buy them off eBay? I am wanting to buy the same ones off of eBay but was just curious about shipping time being from Thailand. Oh and there's a couple of ways to get your leaf pack to go lower without having to mono leaf or buy the lowered pack to save money and not affect ride quality. You can flip the main leaf so the arch is facing the sky an the rest of the pack remains the same and bolt it back together which will straighten the pack out so it has no arch. And will give you about 3 inches of extra drop. Or take your leaf pack to a spring shop or suspension shop and have them de-arch them. Which will also straighten out the leafs giving you about 3 inches of drop. Also you will probably want shorter shocks using air shocks you can get a little more drop if you have a notch so the rear end doesn't hit the frame. And they seem to have a better ride. Just a few ideas for ya to save some money and in the end give you the same result.

The corners and tails came from Germany via eBay. The signals came from Thailand via eBay. Shipping for both took around 3 weeks.

As for the leafs, someone already removed a leaf or two judging my the mangled retainer clamps. Its really janky and I want to try to get away from that. I already ordered the leafs (actually just got notification that it's been delivered to my house) so I'll do a little before and after.

I also forgot to mention that I already replaced the front a rear shocks. I went with Isuzu 2wd front shocks and Nissan quest rears. The old shocks were toast to say the least.

Right on man sounds like you're on top of it. Can't wait to see how this thing sits when you get those leafs on. Good luck bro keep up the good work.

Clear tails painted red look nice! Nice truck! Should look better with the new rear springs!

Thanks, but I didn't paint them. They are colored plastic.

How do you like those djm controls arms? Been thinking about getting a set but indecisive between lower control arms or drop spindles
reallyslowrio   +1y
To be honest, I haven't driven on them yet. I chose control arms over spindles because I knew I wanted to run 15-16" wheels and with the spindles, you'll need to run at least a 17" wheel to clear it. After I put them on, the truck is so low that the stock tire is wedged against the wheel well, and it literally won't move. I also "flipped" the ball joint when I did them so I have massive amounts of negative camber.

I realize the picture are terrible, but Here is a before and after.

Im trying to tuck tire with titan 18s n eliminate some camber might end up using spindles,

Ur truck's looking pretty cool btw

I love the Titans, but I really want to get this thing dragging reflectors. I feel like with the 15's (at least in the front) I could crank UP the torsion bars so the ride is better while still being stupid low.

Thanks for the compliment, she's getting there.
