what carb should i use for my 1988 mazda b2200?

Hey what's up guys and gals if there's any here. Im woundering what brand and model carburetor is best for my truck ?? I'm not such a big fan of the stock carb that on the truck now it has too many hoses and its very complex looking I want something more simple and not so high maintenance,

ok mymmeryloss i will let you know i live in california and we have strick emission laws here and a performance carb will not let me pass, but i really like the carb its nice

Really that's awesome is there any threads on here that have that type of info ??? I would rather a weber than the stock carb

A few have made covers from the stock air cleaner to cover up the Weber, don't know if that was California or not.
