1987 B2000

Hey all! I'm new and excited to be part of this forum. I have a 1987 B-2000 and lookin to do an engine swap. I've been looking at the 1990 RX-7 rotary turbo or a 1993 Miata...I want to stay with a Mazda engine, any suggestions?

I have a 93 B2200 with a N/A rotary swap, its fun, not exactly a truck motor, but its fun. My truck was originally EFI, so I kept the stock rotary fuel injection for now. If you go turbo, you will need to go custom exhaust manifold, and you would have to add EFI to your chassis (fuel pump, wiring, etc...)

If you want power improvements and fuel mileage I'd suggest the most popular swap (from what I've read) and go Kia. There are lots of threads here and on MazdaTrucking.com about swaps.
