Hey I am new as a newborn b. Just picked up a new-to-me 1986 b2k. I had a blast for about 24 hours..... then Mrs. Mazduh's car went down. Now she is driving the b2k to work! Funny how painful it is to see it driving away.

I'm Mazduh, and happy to be driving my new little jitney. As soon as I get home from work I'll be wrenching on Mrs. Mazduh's car so I can get the truck back!

Oh well bought it for back up...right?

Thanks guys (gals)? I will go out and get some pics today after a wash. My trucks paint is in pretty good shape and my buddy is a retired auto body guy, so it'll be awesome when it gets a buff out. I'm going to check on the price for a carwash interior shampoo job too. If it's too pricey I'll have sore shoulders soon, lol.

Thanks A.B.E. for taking care of biz for me! I know everyone has real life chores first!

I actually have to go work on Mrs. Mazduhs car....you apparently have to remove and replace 3 hours of engine parts to put in the back three plugs and wires.

Mrs. Mazduh was laughing at a moaning sound coming from the base of the steering wheel as I was parking last night. Woooo-oooo. Christened the new truck 'Casper'.

These trucks are so old they all have creaks and groans.

I'm loving my truck so far. I can put up with 'Casper' as long as he keeps up with me!

Ha Ha! Mine has the "moan" also.......pretty sure it is the horn contact "pin" rubbing along it's contact "ring" under the steering wheel.......some grease there will probably quiet it down.......I should do mine and snap some pictures of the "ghost" while I'm at it.

I think the ghost in my truck is a cow because it has a very distant "moo" instead of a "woo." Sounds a little like an Angus but with the tonal quality of a Brahman. So quite likely, it's a Brangus.
