I got a bagged mazda...need help with gullwing doors

Well i got a pretty cool mazda with 3 inch bodydrop and shaved all around.The next project it to gullwing the doors.I was wonderin if you all have done it or seen it done.If you can post pics of it.

not a fan.. think they look ugly.. but oppinions are like assholes... everyone has one.. and they all stink. I don't have any pics.. but i know of a million websites that sell the kits.. didn't know if you needed that or not.

well like i said i work at a shop and the guy say's we can do it with barn hinges easy

you work at a shop with the guy? sweet. anyway, there is a mazda in oregon i think, the mazdaque... i'm sure you've seen it in magazines. it has a gull wing driver door and yeah, it looks cool up, but closed there's a hinge at the top which i think looks terrible. and how will you brace the door? seems pretty weak to me, and if memory serves then that door is bending.

Lambo doors are a big difference than gullwing. You can buy lambo hindges that bolt right on. As long as you are confident in his work I would give it a try. Mazda doors are pretty light but you might want to think about cutting about 9 inches off the bottom and molding that part into the cab so there isnt as much weight on the truck. I have a pic of an S-10 from around my area I will post if I can find it.

i know that lambo and gullwing are different but we wanna put it at the shop with the doors up on the mazdawg and acura

you should do a top like the sterlings used to be.. where the whole windshield and tops of the doors and back windows came up out.. almost like the old school batmobile. That would be some sick shit. Sorry for the takeover.
