Probably the longest 2 hours I ever worked on my truck...

So i was taking the bed off so i could clean my frame and lower the suspension more. I get to the middle bolt on the driver side of the bed and the thing wont come off. i tried everything. Finally, me and my bro figure out some how theres a nut on the other side. Well we think that the last time i got it inspected, the guy cut a whole in the channel and put a nut on the bolt to keep it on in order to pass inspection.
I ended up just cutting right throught the side of the channel and cutting the bolt in half.



anybody spend rediculous amount of time on something that seemed to be so simple???

haha i used to do that all the time man, Especially when taking apart a front end, so scared of breaking one of the plastic clips but the snaping and breaking sound is a good thing means the clips are releasing lol

his new theme is " I don't praise the lord as much as I praise the LOWERED. haha

ya i know this one guy, he owns a mazda, and when he first bagged his truck...he left it on the jackstands and thought he could get 2feet of lift in the front and tried to raise the front and roll out of the jackstands

well next thing you know the upper control arm is jammed up in the upper bag mount

spent bout another hour gettin the shit un jammed, then when he lowered the truck off of the jackstands, the truck almost crushed his head

but it was funny

we were takin apart my buddys leaf springs to lower his nissan. tried everything to break the pin loose. vice grips. hammer punch. butane torch(all we had). finally after 2 hours i looked to my left and there was my grinder w/ a cut off wheel on it. nuff said

i hate that feeling.. trying to get something done and ALWAYS held up on something stupid.
