i want your opinion on 6lug chrome 20s

im about to tear my truck apart to body drop on 20s and im considering going with 6lug CHROME 20s (im no dumbass i know there is A SHITLOAD of work involved in this) because ive never seen it done before, what is your take on this idea? is it even something you would notice if you seen my truck at the show?

pretty much just gotta get axle shortnened, cut into the frame in the front and either get shorter tubular arms or shorten the stock arms, i'd get tubulars because you'll have problems with the radius arm hitting the tie rod, mine is real close not even half inch, and thats just on a 16 lol

the hard part is 6 lugs 20s in the front

im rollin 6lug 18s (chrome) now all i need is another inch of drop in the front but what makes it tough is im body droppin to the rockers, so the arms will be shortened, bag placement over top a-arm and gotta move clutch master cylinder.

I am running 20s all round on a mazda bodydropped . They are 20x8.5 with a +45 offset tuck nicely but they also are 4 Lug .

If you want to stay 6 lug and run 20s your best bet is to talk with Boyd Wheels ,budnik and any other Billet wheel company they will make you a set for not much more that will tuck with no rubbing problems

does 5 or 6 lug really matter that much? I am not seeing the difference.

you will when you try to find a 6lug wheel to tuck inside your fenders on a mazda


most are for SUV's, because we have the same bolt pattern as 6lug chevy's. and most of those wheels doesnt have enough backspace

i think it is 5.5 inch of backspace for a 7inch wide wheel to tuck in the back...that means 1.5inch of front space....you wont see many of those, you have to get them custom made

and the ones that do fit, typically most of the ppl that decide to keep 6lug will have the same wheels, because you can count the different 6lug wheels that tuck in one hand

Couldnt you just go through Intro or one of the wheels companies like that?
