I've searched around, and can't seem to find specs on the 89 B2600?

I just bought one, its a 4x4, fuel injected 4 cyl.

Anyone have a link to specs? Sorry if I don't know how to search very well or something, but I just can't find anything.

this is a little off topic but do you have a civic with an H22 in it? if you do doesnt it tilt to the firewall quite a but? and kinda large eh?
h22acivic b2600i se-5 4x4   +1y
yea the H22 does tilt toward the firewall, and it is QUITE large for the engine bay, but its the only way to get a 12.8 1/4 mile with 33mpg while still fitting 2 people and 5 rolls of 23" r13 insulation!
That thing was my truck before, it could haul 24 bags of mulch, it was wired for a trailer (hitch was removed before I had it), it made trips everywhere, but the body is getting all redone (shaved rear WINDOWS etc.) and i need a daily driver now, and the 87 accord my parents generously gave me suited my girlfriend better, so i sold it to her and bought the b2600i se-5

go to and click on the project car link on the bottom right, that's ME.

thats awsome, and is looking pretty good, i also have a honda, its an 88 crx si, talk about a slut to find in good shape, i looked forever, i started getting into imports but minitrucks are my life, i just couldnt stand not owning a slammed truck, so now i got this 91 mazda and a turbo set-up, so i can look good and low and have BOOST

Since my civic is race, and I haven't had the show bug bite me yet i'm just going to make the b2600i se-5 a 4x4 monster.

I was looking into some kind of a turbo kit, does anyone know a manifold that matches the 2600i se-5 from some car wtih a stock turbo that would mount up?

I know how to raise the front since its torsen bar, but what about the rear, where can i find an add-a-leaf kit for it?

Also does anyone have a recommendation for a muffler, i'm looking at going 2.5" straight to a baffel muffler, would a magnaflow or flowmaster be fine?

And the intake, can I just make one like we would for a honda drag car, with 3" alum tubing and a k&n cone filter?

Last thing, as i'm new to 4x4s completely, how do I know what size tires I can fit on it, what is big and what is too big? I have heard of 30-33s fitting with a single add-a-leaf in the rear and torsen bar adjustments on the front, but how / where do you get mud tires anyway, and what is my stock wheel size (if they are stock anyway)

You are extremely limited by raising with the torsion bars, however thats all you can really do without heavy modification to the vehicle. For tires.. you can get them at any tire store really.. or order them online somewhere. 33's will fit fine with the torsion jacked up and a block kit on the other side of the leaf springs to lift the rear of your truck... rather than lower it. And 33's don't look really goofy on mazdas either. You can make the intake out of a 3in civic intake.. just flip it around and cut it to fit. Mine used to whistle when i punched it.

where would I put the blocks, or where can I get a kit for the rear?

the blocks go between the leaf spring and the axle, and yeah you can make your intake, its all the same, as for the turbo i dont know about the b2600i, if its the same as the 2.2 manifold then you can use the turbo stuff off an 89 turbo mx-6 or probe, but look into the comparing the 2600 and the 2200 first
