finally

after over a year without a mazda, i am getting another mazda hopefully......

kinda paying to much for it, but o well, i want it.....

is a 86 b2000 with a blown motor......will probably just pick up a used motor from the junkyard and take my chances....

234k miles......i know, i know, high, but o well......

is a reg cab, shortbed.....is multi colored (he was getting ready to paint it, so he replaced some fenders with straight ones and such...)

he said $400 for it, and i said ok, but i think i might try to get him down to $350.......


but....i will finally have another mazda!

I dunno.. $400 might seem a bit high.. but what is the condition of the rest of the truck? If the body is straight and the interior is clean.. bed in good condition and the bumpers good.. well $400 isnt so bad really.. however.. if its a complete POS.. then yeah.. $400 is too much. Good luck with it though.

haven't seen the truck up close yet, but from the description he gave (is a friend, so i dont "think" he would lie about it....) the body is ready for prime/paint except for one small rust spot on the bed and the bed floor has a few pinholes.......but the bed floor is no biggie since i would be replaceing it if i body drop it......and that would just give me all the more reason to do so

i wont buy it if its not what he described......

ok, well......i think this idea has been canned.....cheapest i can find a engine for is $1250......that is a lot more than i want to put into a mazda that would still be stock....
