Quick fuel cell question

I put a fuel cell in my truck and was wondering what to do with the roll over vent on the cell. I left it open but when I drive fuel likes to splash out a little. I think I'm going to buy another -8an fitting and just run a hose under the bed but I wasn't sure what everyone else did with it. Thanks for any help in advance.
