my family was the same way until it made the magazine, then all the hard work had paid off. Once you hit the mag your hole thought process on it changes. You ask yourself what you can do different every year or so to keep it fresh. Then you want to help others to get to the same place. I remember the first time I drug my truck with my wife in it, it scared the shit out of here. hahahaha
When I got the truck the first thing I did was pulled the torsion bars out and had a good time with it bouncing down the road. Little by little the truck gets worked on and at the end the truck is bad ass.
Drag on to all those who want to be different, it will only make sense to you but drag that shit.

when i first told my brother and the rest of my family and freinds i had big plans for my dads ol work truck they thought i was crazy. and believe me i was! haha. a lot of us have got these mazdas from guys who just abused them as work trucks like my dad did. check out my Before pics on my cardomain pages. but the more i work on this truck, and the more problems i have, i just keep loving it more in the end. believe me its a passion we all have, if it wasnt, we wouldnt all be talking about this now! and its great to know theres other guys out there with the same passion i have. (i think im going to cry... hahaha)

Well i got my cherry drag in last night.. and I just can't describe the feeling.. its like you get supper amped on pixie sticks and someone scares the crap out of you at the same time.. just pure excitement. I'm defenatly going to build this truck bad ass.. but not for a magazine. I know what it takes to make a magazine ride.. but thats just not for me right now. I want to build it to drag body and just look crazy old school while doing it.

i like driving a bagged truck daily...after all the bugs have been worked out it's painless almost. All i really do is regular maintenance work such as fluids etc.

i've had 3 low trucks and this little 92 mazda has been the best so far. something bout it feels good. it isnt because it is bagged. just that it's the truck that the most work by me and my dad has gone into that makes it different.

my dad used to be a mazda enthusiast i guess, seems like it got passed to me and then he moved on to nicer things which he has deserved.

but yea guys, we all share the love for these slow ass import trucks that can't haul shit anyway to begin with...but for some reason, it feels good

i got my truck from my dad and he bought it new. my first car, i love my truck to death, to the point where all my money is going to it. too many good times, too many times avoiding PO9, id hate to let her go. my parents think im stupid as f#*k for fixin it up. my neighbors think i should "put it back to stock" rofl!! and dont get me started on all the haterz in my town. i have s0o many plans and so little income. im gonna drag the B one day down louise ave... if i dont sell it, but i plan on buyin a swapped 88-91 crx/hatch for a daily, then im puttin the maz on non-op for awhile and do a ground up on body work.

Mines still not on the road, but im just itching to drive it, but i got 2 cops living in my neighbourhood. So tday to get the water out of my bed i decided to take it around the circle on my dead end street and ended up cruisin for like 20 minutes on back roads with no plates and all primered and sanded, hahaha. i just love my truck.

Couple things before I go on about my truck. As for the whole wife/girlfriend/partner thing, it is true. Just do it. They will almost NEVER understand. It usually helps if they see the end result. And yes it is ok (according to my wife) for a woman to drive a new vehicle (10 - 30k investment that takes forever to own), but not ok for us to spend $2200 on a bag setup for our $1000 dollar beaters. Also Gawdzam, I've owned a CRX and those things will nickel and dime you for 2 reasons. 1-Like any older vehicle they usually need quite a bit of TLC (Tender Lovin' CASH). 2-You'll find more parts that you want to put on then you first thought and then your daily driver becomes a rolling project.

As for my truck, I'm hooked. I look at it as an investment in self-expression (kinda like tattoos). Sorry for the long post.
