b2200 mph shift

I have an 87 b2200 and it has no exhaust system so it pretty loud.I was just wondering what mph you shift at in 1st 2nd 3rd an 4th. I shift out of 1st at 10mph but I don't know if im shifting to soon because the engines so loud. Thanks

nah thats about good for 1st, our trucks have really high gears, 1st will only go up to about 25-30mph

i usually shift out of 1st at about 15, shift out of 2nd about 25, shift out of 3rd about 35-40, shift out of 4th about 45-60 (depends a lot)

i've been driving real light lately to conserve some gas so i've been shifting every 10mph increments , its working though cause i got 24mpg last tank of gas

i know in third gear i can hit 115 km/h easily

I would say it is preferance on how you drive,takin it easy on the dawg is the way i go

i disagree driving it hard is good but you also must maintain it
