fuel tank ??

Is the tank the same for all the models or are they model specific. My "new to me" 89 cab plus seems to have a leak that the last owner failed to mention to me ... wondering if the one from my 89 regular cab will fit it.

I Think the reg cab tanks are a different size (rather shape) Do to configuration under the truck . But im not 100% sure tho .


also for a quick fix til you get your new tank you can temporaily stop the leak (if its a drip type leak ) With soap .Anyone who drags trucks usually carries a bit of soap in case they drag a hole in their tank. easy and quick .

as long as ur not working with a fi mazda and a carburated i think it should be fine im not totally siure though soo dont qoute me

nope sorry thay wont fit the Xcab tank is differnt then the reg cab tank the x cab is smaller on one end then on the other so it will tuck under the cab the reg cab is the same on bouth ends

Buy a fuel cell, Ebays got tons, at good prices too.

ill second the size differance! the cab-plus are smaller on the end near the cab...
