Started the truck up and white spoke poors out everyone knows the worst possible thing this mean and it happened head gasket blew

Now im curious to see what everyone would rate a blown head gasket on a scale of 1-10

its not a hard fix, just a pain in the ass.

its not too bad bro, just make sure you remember where everything else goes

and make sure to use a torque wrench and tighten it up to specs, and there is a certain order you should tighten the bolts to lessen the risk of the gasket not sitting right, i forgot the exact order, it should be in a haynes manual that you can get at autozone or local parts store. It'll give you the torque specs and should give an order of tightening

we did mine on a tiny driveway in the middle of downtown, it wasnt as bad as i thought it was

i had mine done on my dodge, they didnt torque it right and it started leakin anti freeze all over the place... so make sure you tighten it right!

and also make sure you tighten it right..

yeah my mazda looses antifreeze cause it wasnt torqued right, just remember to replace the head bolts, they will torque to spec but they are actually stretched when removed so save yourself the headache and get new headbolts, thats why im losing antifreeze, didnt get new bolts

just add 5lbs of torque to them thats what i did and never had a problem but i would not use them more then 3 times (thats new1 used 2)

ya thanks guys for the info my dad knows a guy who does nothing but work on mazda motors thank god so me and dad decided not to try to do it our selves and end up costing ME more money lol i know it isnt hard id just rather have someone do it that does im sure everyone could vouch for that any other things i need to get by replacing this i no i need new seals and now head bolts anything else?

sometimes actually paying someone to do it is the best modification you can do, lol

probably a 9...it is kind of a messy job.
