2wd is a cleaner look in my opinion and it lays out a little nicer

2wd looks better IMO if you have smaller wheels, but if your trying to tuck 20's the 4wd looks better IMO

IMO I think 4x4 metal looks smoother, but u can't hate on 2x4 either it's looks pretty sleek if u can tuck it up in em right!

i got the 4 wd metal to keep my wheels from slinging up trash on it once i get it painted, since im running 16's ther won't be much to tucking, plus the 4 wd stuff makes it look fatter. i do thing that the 2 wd has cleaner lines though, but the practicality of running an aftermarket wheel, or one with an offset other than factory doesn't work to well with the 2 wd sheet metal.

I put the 4wd stuff on all of my Mazdas....the stuff is so hard to come by anymore that I just buy it whenever I see it even if I do not have a use for it. I think 4x4 metal looks better with big wheels..(i.e. looks goofy when you are runnin stock 14 inchers). The 4wd stuff is a real good choice if you want to rum wider wheels too. I am an old schooler so I am used to not being able to find a killer 6 lug wheel that tucks so the 4x4 stuff was a good choice in my day. 4x4 metal can be a problem if you are doing a big bodydrop though because of the bottom "flaring". Right now my daily is a 92 B2600i that is lowered like 4 or 5 inches and it still has 2wd metal and my other toy is an 87 B2000 with all 4x4 metal. I really don't mind either way because a Mazda is a Mazda and they look sic both ways.

I like it better if its done right. I cant specify what makes it "right" but I just like some better than others. Now the 2wd sheetmetal looks good also. The big difference that I notice between the two is that the 2wd looks more flat and straight, while the 4wd kind of breaks the sides of the tuck up and gives it some extra curves.
