well i was gona keep the wheels under wraps But i guess i have to spill the beans so to speak. I want to either put a set of 18" armanda wheels or the ve-cross ( what ever its called) or even navi wheels. Whats the diameter of the hub i am assuming the mazda hub is 25mm ?

is the wheel an 18x8 or 18x7? that makes a big difference, the back spacing for a 7" wide wheel would be 5.5 but u can use a 5" and it just rubs the lip of the wheel well so u just need to roll the lip, thats what i ran into.. if its an 8" wide wheel u need a 6.5'' back spacing or your goint to run into probs, unless u use a ford courior/mazda b2000(pre 86) rear end, it will clear cuz the rear end in more narrow, and the front end dosent rub thanks to camber.... a buddy of mine did this it worked great

WELL I have the 4x4 metal on my truck rubbing issue im not concerned to much about . I BELEIVE The one set im lookin at is 18 " 6 lug 5.5 back spacing THEN it says 25 mm

vehicross 18's are 18x7'a

5.5"=139.7mm
25mm=0.9842"
the 5.5 is the distance between the lugs center to center
mazda's are 6x139.7 lug pattern,
so the wheel is 18x? w/ 6x139.7(5.5") lug pattern w/ 25mm back spacing from the center of the wheel. with a 7" wheel it would be @4.48" backspacing, with a 8" wheel it would be @4.98" backspacing.

i'm running 16x7 centerline's w/ 225/50-16's, and have the 4wd sheetmetal, and the wheels are even with the edge of the fender well.i can't remember the backspacing right off hand, but i think it is 5", i will check when i get home and let u know tomorrow.

good guide off hand is you need atleast 1.5inch front spacing, from the mounting plate to the front lip of the wheel has to be no more than 1.5 inches
