Lost Title

hey i was wondering how much it costs to file for a lost title? I was told it was $300. but that seems outradious so if any of you are informed please tell me.. oh and i dont know if it would make any difference but i a in Missouri..

IF you don't have an actual dmv- meaning you have to use a notary that does alil of everything . Go there - it SHOULD NOT cost you more then 100 .00 to GET A duplicate title . if any thing after fees it should cost you 50.00 but 100 MAX is what i'd figure in case.

in FL it costs 15 dollars plus tax for a lost title search.

well, i sold my old car, just signed the back of the title and gave it to him.

2 years later, i got a paper saying i owed 2 years of taxes on it because he never got it transfered. i went to the courthouse, gave them 20 dollars, and had a title in a week to junk it. i came really close to going and getting my car

Go to the tag office. Fill out the form and pay like $10 over here in SW GA.

Here in VA if the title is still in your name, they have record of it, and all you have to do is tell them that you have lost your title and need another one made. It voids the original one as VA titles have like a title serial number. The new title says reprint, but it is a valid title. I found this information on the internet, I hope it helps:

here in ontario its 20$, all u need to do is walk in tell them your name show i.d. pay 20$ and your done

Titles suck man. It seems like mazdas just didnt have those damn things as a factory standard.
