hey,
well ive been trying to figure out what i am doing for tail lights....and i need some input. i can get my hands on a set of stock b-3000 tail lights to graft into my truck, and i was also thinking of putting in l.e.d s and putting a candy coat ontop of them...ive seen this done before and was wondering how bright it is and how legal it is....thnx guys...L8r

for the leds, they would be illegal.. at least here in canada.. at they dont reflect from the side, also no reverse.

leds are great but nit always bright enough to see during the daytime. i like leds but was hit last year by a granny who couldnt see em. wanting something custom i opted for caddy lights and love em! stock is great but customs better! L8

some new car lights do not reflect to the sides, like the cobalt and corvette

as for the reverse light , you could just wire a single led at the very bottom of your roll pan, i was told that they are for backing up in the dark and not for road safety

painting over the lights would be pretty sweet looking but proabably not too smart.

i found a set of transport lights in going to use...so they cant gimme shit if transports can have them...im going to make them, along with my lisence plate, rise from the top of the bed.....kind of like the new lisence plate actuaters, but my lights are going to be with it....
