I need some help!

I need a VIN# from a reg cab, short box mazda 4x4

Mazda says they require the VIN# in order to make sure they can get me the right parts... so if ANYONE has a reg cab, short box 4x4 b2200 or b2600 and is willing to get me the VIN # it would be VERY appreciated! thanks!!!

I have the dash from a 90 B2600i 4x4 out in the garage, I can get the vin for you later on this evening. The truck was scrapped after I took all the usuable parts off.

its been in a junkyard now for a year, I have pictures of the before and after lol. It took Crutch and I like an hour to completely take it apart. But the doors, rear window and hood live on bolted to my truck, and the fuel pump, fenders and bed live on bolted to madlowmazda's (jim's) badass mazda. And I still have a garage full of odds and ends. Ahhh the life of a mazda nut.

If you push it a little you can usually get the parts guy to back down. Ask for a manager, threaten to go somewhere else etc. I often have this problem at Toyota dealerships. If they don't give me the part I want w/o a VIN, I leave.

The official reason for asking for a VIN is to gaurantee that the part will work. Assure the parts guy that you KNOW what part you need and you won't return it.

If none of that works and you have no where else to go, just grab a VIN off of autotrader.

Giving out your VIN is not just an inconvenience, it's a security threat too. Most dealerships will cut a key based on a VIN. It's like handing over the keys to your ride to anyone that wants them.
