HELP WITH MY MX-6

well i just piccked up an mx6 this week...iknow i know cars are lame but it shure beats my last daily an 87 prelude...and the trucks away for a loooong time....and anyways heres the poblem..it was running fine thene one time i started it and it sputtered and died...i have spark i have compression and the timing is right it turns over normaly just wont bloddy fire even with spraying ether into the intake not even a blurp or anything im so puzzled...i checked he distributor..its fine i checked fuel pressure thats fine too i am absoluty puzled,,,,anyone have any sugestions

Hey man i had a 92 mx3. I had pretty much the same problem and i was completely pissed off because i could find the problem. It ended up being the intake manifold gasket. Dont know if this is your problem but thats what mind did as well and this was what was wrong with mine. good luck on finding the problem

i have a 94 mx6, and it started runnin crappy twice, once it was the distributor (a common problem in mx6s and 626s, another time my valve cover gaskets were leakin and soaked my plug wires with oil. i'd say its the distributer though

yea...i found it.. it was the ignition controal module in the distributor...haha i checkd for sparks at the begining i only checked 2 plugs they worked fine....but the other for wernt...i wasted 2 days cuz i was lazy
