will running the stock mazda rad be suffecient fo r cooling the 4.3? The gm rad is a little to tall

possibly...i'd get something a little wider though, just to be safe

on the b2200's if your truck is a 5spd the rad is only a one row core,
if it's an auto, it has a two row core, a two row might be enough to keep
it cool, but i wouldn't chance it, try to find something out of a v8 that is the right size to fit in the mazda that will deff. keep it cool enough!

I have heard that v6 totyota rads are a good swap for the 4.3's.

I have the Vortec 4.3, new stock radiator, and no problems. Usually run about 195 on the freeway, 215 in traffic. I wouldn't waste money on a new radiator unless you plan on towing or driving in Death Valley.

how'd you run the hoses for the rad? they are opposite?
Thanks

Kinda cheesy, but I just a combination of s10 hoses and flexible hose. I believe the b2600 radiator would have the proper outlets for a 4.3.
