On the brake system on my 87 b2000, Should there be some sort of proportioning valve on there? Because mine has lines coming right off the master cyl, going to the calipers. And my drivers side front wheel always gets covered in break dust from it getting more pressure than the passenger side. The truck tends to pull to the left when i hit the brakes too. On my s10 there was a proportoining valve, so that the front brakes both got equal pressure, and had equal stopping power. Anyone know?

not sure bro, my 89 b2200 has one. if i were you i would check for a clogged brake line. if it doesn't have one it probably didn't come with one. L88

There should be one on the passenger side of the firewall with a line run from the master cylinder, one to each front brake, and one to the rear.

alright. Well my whole brake system was redone, all the lines were ran behind the dash to make the firewall look cleaner..

I went and took some pics of how its setup.

It looks like theres 3 lines off the master cyl.

1 goes directly to the front drivers side brake

1 goes behind the firewall, and i assume is for the passenger front brake, And the other is for the rear brakes.

The brakeline thats disconnected and plugged in the master cyl, is for the rear brakes. i blew a brake line on the rear axle and to get me home, i disconnected the rear brakes.

This i assume is the proportioning valve. its behind the dash mounted on the firewall. I dont know if its hooked up right or not.

Notice all the brake dust on the drivers side wheel

Notice the lack of brake dust on the passenger side wheel

That is the proportioning valve in the picture but I have no idea if its hooked up the same or not.
