Is it a good idea to run nitrogen? Because I have a 12 gallon tank and I don't want to wait a long time for it to air up. Any suggestions?

i run nitrogen and helium but thats cuz im impatient and i dont wanna wait for the tank to fill up. it is costly in the end i my bottles last about 2 weeks and down here its $35 for helium and $12-$17 for nitrogen.

I just wish we could find a place to fill nitrogen around here. Most places claim not to be able to get it.

What do need to hook up that nitrogen. I heard that you can run air line and it will hold up. I also heard that you need to run an additional air tank and compressor so you won't run out of air.

the smart way to go about it is to run a small compressor in case of an emergency, thats the route ive been thinking about for awhile now just not too sure. yes the air line will hold up. you connect the line to your regulator thas connected to your bottle. all you need is bottle of nitrogen or helium, and regulator.

ill try to get pix up tonight and show you.

The way we have it on my bro's Taco is there are 2 7 gallon tanks being fed with nitrogen, but we have a manual valve that we can open to clear the tanks that is in line with the nitrogen regulator in the bed. SO that way, when we shut the valve off, the compressors can fill the tank and when we have the valve open, it lets the nitrogen fill the tanks. We havent been able to find anywhere around here that will fill the tank since they did not sell the bottle that we are trying to get filled.

We found a place about 20 mins from here that will swap. Most people around here dont like us cause we are young and using it for suspensions. They all claim that we need to have a contract and buy the bottle, but a friend of mine down in NC has found somewhere that will do it and exchange the bottle.
